52 Weeks of More gratitude. More hope. More love.
This week I'm grateful for...
blue skies
the thrill of airports...the comings and goings, the possibility of adventures and the anticipation of waiting for someone special to walk through arrivals
the tropics, palm trees, the smell in the air, afternoon storms and a walk along the beach after the storm had passed
opening up to living in a new place and finding new places to practice yoga, eat very good greek meze (mmm fried Saganaki with a squeeze of lime) and shop at Saturday morning farmers' markets
limes! they've been getting a very good run in the kitchen (let's see there was trout with fresh ginger, lime and a crispy salad a turkey stir fry with lime and papaya, lime and yoghurt and that's only 2 limes down!)
little treats to make the home and office inviting spaces - goat's milk soap, fresh flowers (who's name escapes me..they are dainty and orange and very pretty) and a sweet hand poured soy candle infused with lavender. I feel calmer already
finding my favourite lil doll i've had since i was about 2 years old. Apparently I used to carry her everywhere for a while and became quite distraught if she was missing. it's a mystery how she ended up in a jewellery box named little gypsy but the name's a keeper
being in the family cocoon for the next 2 weeks.
Writing and reflecting on all this I see even more clearly there has been and is so much to be grateful for. And more importantly I really do feel it this week.
As usual I'm Linking up with Maxabella for 52 Weeks of Gratitude. I'm loving reading and finding new blogs that are playing along too.
Beautiful. I love these pictures. I can feel everything you've described ... delicious! Good luck settling into a new home.
