About

Welcome. The Spaces Between is my little corner to express and nurture my creative soul.  I create, explore and write about slowing down, gratitude, eating and living naturally, whole foods, new recipes, daily inspiration and adventures in living a simple life where less is more.

You may also be interested to read about my continuing exploration to right an imbalance. Way back in 2005 my body became imbalanced with the onset of Glandular Fever. Then came Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. I feel tired, restricted and frustrated at times.  And though finding a way to right the imbalance is a complicated journey it's one worth taking. To live a nourished life and support my health I'm learning to find pleasures in simple things, eating well, loving more, laughing more, reading the printed word, connecting to my community, calming my nervous system, staying present and doing more of what I love.

The Spaces Between is a reminder to take pause, to shift the switch from chaos to calm and notice the beauty in life we may have missed if we'd continued to rush by.

  1. Lovely to find your blog through Che & Fidel. Not sure if you are still on your journey to feel better, however thought I would link you to East & West Healing.....I have just completed a course called the Metabolic Blueprint - just incredible. Never felt better ...won't go into my story here, however if you are open to challenging mainstream nutrition check it out.

    Take care, (another) Natalie x

    1. Hi Natalie! Lovely to meet you. Yep I'm always up for new food/health information,so very excited to have a few new avenues to explore and intrigued about east & west healing. I spotted some of your blog post titles that i'm super eager to read. Yes I'm still on the health healing journey, and in a 'confused' about what is the 'right' way to eat, so the timing of Jodi's post and your contact is perfect. Nat x

  4. Hey Natalie,

Just found your blog. Love the line "if it must be labeled" I am the same way about my "conditions" as I call them! I hate labels !! (especially since people assume CFS is just being tired) I just started a blog recently and my very first post touched on this! I too can relate to the " countless hours " of trying things but I refuse to give up! Excited to explore your blog more. I LOVE food too.
